Over the last 5 years I have had the opportunity to work with Rob. During that time Rob has proven time and again just how amazing a leader he is. During stressful events Rob always keeps a level head and ensures the game plan is actionable and accurate. Rob’s leadership has brought us through unsure times and led us towards stability and confidence. Rob is easy to work with and is always patient with me while I learn the new systems. In addition Rob often brings insight into solutions that I had not thought of. Rob’s programming skills are also second to none, his long term experience really shows in the way he is able to quickly contribute to code he has not touched before. His abilities to ask the right technical questions, which help expose edge cases, is critical to success. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Rob as a leader and I hope to have the opportunity to work with him again!

I worked closely with Rob on GeoTime while at Oculus as software architect. The visualization R&D work we were doing required a lot of open ended exploration and experimentation in order to be successful. These forces have a tendency to derail software projects if not expertly managed; Rob was fantastic at guiding our team through this difficult process as both an advocate for the client and contributing directly to the code. Rob is a very capable developer with a deep technical understanding. Under his leadership I produced some of my best work; I would gladly jump at the chance to collaborate again.
