      In my time as the Director of Operations, my duties included employee management, brand strategy, statistics systems, shipping and logistics, long-term planning, and an initiative geared toward operational excellence. I regularly analyzed each department’s efficiency- then researched, organized and implemented money-and-time saving solutions to ensure our ability to handle the always-increasing volume of online orders as well as an ever-expanding catalogue of offerings. After discovering several missed opportunities for conversion in countries such as Brazil, my most recent project (before relocating) involved exploration into offering different payment options, such as Boleto Boncario, as well as working closely with our shipping partners to offer improved shipping services. And, while I am by no means an expert, due to the modest size of the staff, at times I would perform IT functions such as software updates, software installation, and inspect network or wifi issues. When our flagship store opened in the summer of 2016, I personally networked, configured and installed six iPad Revel POS units and performed regular software updates. On occasion, I would also assist the Graphic Design team with minor website edits utilizing HTML and CSS, which could not be accomplished using the WYSIWYG editor in Shopify.
