  An 18 month program spanning from August 2013 - February 2015 with three six-month rotations.- Rotation 1: Application Developer - Instructional Systems Design Operations(ISD) • Implemented various features and fixes on Yale's in-house open source Sakai add-on called the Sign-up Tool. Tools used include Java, JSP, Maven, Tomcat, Spring, Oracle DB, and Hibernate. • Developed and implemented the new Import/Archive feature, time-zone conversions to user's local time, and a feature to allow user's to edit their comments on the Sakai Sign-up Tool. These features satisfied the Sakai Core tool requirements and was accepted into the Sakai 10 release. - Rotation 2: Software Engineer - Campus Community Technologies(CCT) • Researched and tested various Platform as a Service(PaaS) for a future project initiative to allow students access to a sandbox development server owned by Yale. • Working with an API using SOAP and PHP to retrieve the search result of Yale policies and feeding the XML file result into Drupal via the Feeds Module. • Writing SQL Server queries and tables using SQL Server Management Studio for a university wide room reservation system. • Created presentations for teaching student developers various technologies such as Google App Engine, Google Sites, iOS and Android development.- Rotation 3: Software Engineer/Assistant Manager - Student Developer and Mentorship Program(CCT) • Interview dozens of students and hire students for the student developer and mentorship program. • Teach workshops on topics such as iOS programming, Android development, Google Sites, and Google App Engine to Yale students and the New Haven community. • Co-manage 20 Yale students of various skill levels to create applications for Yale University. • Coordinate events for the developer community of Yale and New Haven to collaborate on projects and to share knowledge. • Organize, structure, and prepare the student developer program for the next semester.
