Baltimore, Maryland Area Automating the Metabolite Identification for the DMPK group at NCATS from incubation to analysis. Build a metabolite database for small molecules. Push forward laboratory capability from microsome fractions to cell systems (hepatocyte, organ-in-chip). Push forward laboratory capabilities for permeability studies from PAMPA to 96-well Caco-2 permeability/transporters study for Tier II studies of lead comounds.

Jun 2017 - Jan 2018
Baltimore, Maryland Area Training in Metabolite Identification of compounds for the treatment of Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva. The metabolite identification was performed by incubating a series of compounds with liver microsomes from human and mouse. Samples were analyzed with UPLC/QTOF system operating in the MSe mode(Synapt G2-Si). Data analyzed were performed with Metabolynx software. The collaboration was made possible by the BEPE program with Sao Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP).
