Developed communication infrastructure requirements at contractor locations with Government contracts. This included facility planning, system installation/maintenance and facility turn-up. This involved network hardware such as multiplexes, LAN/WAN, voice systems, multiple types of encryption, optical modems, CSU/DSU, and other types of hardware used with DDS, T1, DS3, OC-x, Ethernet and E1 access supported by wired, wireless and optical entrance MPOE’s. An additional function was that of a project manager responsible for overall job package development; including infrastructure readiness, coordination activity with telco and other third party vendors, creation / execution of detailed schedules, and providing status briefings to clients and upper management. The job package also contained the bill of material list, detailed drawings and installation diagrams, technician work orders and quality control compliance guidelines to achieve a successful and efficient team installation process.
