Centrepoint is a leading youth homelessness charity, with HRH The Duke of Cambridge as a patron.ROLESI ran a coffee morning and workshops on topics such as ‘eating a healthy breakfast’ or ‘making a salad/stir-fry’. I guided new residents through a healthy living assessment to ensure they had a doctor, dentist, knew how to access sexual health services and provided space for them to discuss any personal issues. I was trained in offering Chlamydia postal screening.During this time period, I also held other roles within the supported housing sector. These primarily focused on providing assistance with housing and employment concerns, such as benefit claims, education and work experience.
