This system automates the authorization, processing and reporting of farmer payment schedules inline with EU directives. - Tasked with role of Oracle 10g Technology Lead (J2EE) responsible for providing in-depth J2EE Technology support, in-line with the overall aims of the technical support team. - Role included understanding the configuration and operation of Oracle Application Server 10g (9.0.4) and its interfaces to other Genesis components, from the perspective of the Genesis application. - Raised Technical Assistance Requests with Oracle to resolve J2EE issues. This involved obtaining patches/fixes from Oracle, writing J2EE test harnesses to verify that the fixes solved the issue and co-ordinating with Bug fixing team to apply patch. - Assist other J2EE developers with J2EE issues related to using Oracle Application Server. This included assisting in coding and deployment descriptor issues. - Tasked with code maintenance of the Genesis core framework (Session Facade/Web Services) deployed on Oracle Application Server.
