I worked directly for Molly when she served as the Vice President of Cartoon Network New Media. Molly’s personal and professional skill set made her one of the best supervisors/coaches I’ve had. In addition to being a great manager, Molly excels at bringing teams together and is skilled in leading brainstorming and ideation. She’s a great asset to any organization.

During my time working with Molly, her ability to spearhead initiatives with both efficiency and effectiveness never ceased to amaze me. She was always thinking of new ways to get teams focused and on-task in ways that were engaging, and often felt more like fun than work. Whether it's a unique approach to brainstorming that harnesses the talents of dozens of creative minds, or a smaller powwow among stakeholders, Molly always makes every meeting something far better than the standard agenda/discussion/debate/optional anger progression that such activities usually become. And even more importantly, she ensures that people come out of meetings with united vision and a clear sense of what comes next and how they can achieve the end goal. Her leadership is truly exemplary and inspiring to those around her.

I completed a five-month contract for marketing of new programs, cross-sector relationship building, fundraising, event planning, and community organizing. Highlights include: - Formed cross-sector relationship with a large school district and saw to completion negotiations, contract, and logistics. - Created and managed a unique event, A Happy Hour of Astonishing Chill, in support of Wonderlust’s ongoing project that examines overachievement. The event exceeded its goals in expanding awareness of the project and in finding new contributors. Show less

HUGE Theater is an artist-led company dedicated to supporting the Twin Cities improv community through performance and education. At HUGE, I guided organizational vision, strategy, and culture, overseeing strategic initiatives and fundraising programs. I managed financial forecasting and grant writing, as well as leading special event planning and execution, overcoming near closure to eliminate debt with one year and growing annual income by +$550K. Some of my accomplishments include: • Helping to boost diversity and inclusion in the local improv community, in part by securing funding and designing new role for a Director of Diversity and Inclusion at HUGE Theater. • Created two three-year plans for the organization, strategizing our future goals and objectives and condensing our mission in actionable tasks with attainable milestones. • Launched a new program, creating and managing the annual giving campaign that attracted hundreds of new participants and +1K supporters. • I helped effect a sizable cultural shift away from ageism and sexual harassment, with significant increase in respect and inclusion among students and performers of all ages and genders, leading to higher rate of recruitment and retention of older and female-identifying students and performers. • Partnered with a legal expert to develop internal systems, programs, and policies to handle matters including sexual harassment, claims investigations, disclosure policy, and physical boundary discussions, as well as prominently displaying new guidelines throughout organization. • I investigated sensitive claims of harassment, navigating rules and policy to take action as required, resulting in a steep decline in instances in subsequent years.
