Multiscale Mechanical Modeling and Research Network (MMMRN) is a research group formed by some enthusiastic students of Department of Mechanical Engineering, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) under supervision of Md. Mahbubul Islam (Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, The Pennsylvania State University and former lecturer of Mechanical Engineering Department, BUET) in 2012. The group has been working with many professors from BUET, University of Malaya, University Brunei Darussalam and Grad Student of Pennsylvania State University, Case Western Reserve University, Washington State University (Pullman), University of Central Florida on different fields of Mechanical Engineering. At present, eight research assistants are working in the group. From the beginning, the group has published quality articles in many international conferences and journals on Renewable energy, Molecular dynamics, Fracture Mechanics, Heat transfer, CFD & Aerodynamics etc.

I participated in a two-week internship program as part of a noncredit course (ME 370), which is required for graduation from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. Our first ever training as undergraduates was provided by the training program. The event was hosted by the BUET ME Department in partnership with Kohinoor Chemical Company Limited Bangladesh. My internship began on April 18th, 2022, and finished on April 28th, 2022. I visited all of Kohinoor's plants and facilities throughout my trip. I learned about different types of machines and how they worked. The supporting utilities plants were also explained to me in a very comprehensive manner. I was also instructed to do a careful inspection of some of the various process equipment. This document contains a list of all the plants we've seen and the assignments we've performed while we were here.
