National COVID-19 Outbreak Response— ‘Operation Rescript’ provided a national mobile diagnostic service to support the UK Government response to COVID-19. With validated mobile laboratories (Mobile Processing Units, MPUs) set up in 28 vans and 15 trailer spread throughout England and Wales, our key focus was to respond to regional outbreaks, providing results within 2-3 hours of a patient being swabbed. The capability was also mobilised to support high risk / high priority events / VVIPs, for example, G7 events. As 2IC and Digital Lead on a project that (at its height) employed c.500 contractors, my role was varied. Highlights included:- - Oversight, development, testing and implementation of Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) - Management of Project SMT - Management of subcontractors (Laboratory Service Providers) - Digital Training & Development - Development of SOPs - Commercial Management (Resource/Financial Planning & KPI Negotiation) - Client (UKG) Reporting Show less
