Darci Jaret is, by far, one of the most creative individuals I have ever met. Darci is particularly gifted in inviting others into the creative process. During my time with her at Park Avenue, I've watched Darci help transform our worship space and building into a welcoming and hospitable space that inspires all who enter our doors to tap into their own creative potential. In addition to being an artist and creator, Darci is a gifted minister who displays clear gifts in preaching, pastoral care, and administration. Darci flourishes in team environments and always makes sure to pull their weight. Any person who works with Darci will find them to be a passionate, courageous, and creative leader who always makes room for others to flourish.
Dale Doud
My name is Dale B. Doud and I worked with Darci Rodenhi Jaret at the First Baptist Church of Decatur, Georgia. I worked with her for about 4 years. Darci worked in our office and assisted the church staff as needed. She has excellent communication and computer skills. She always demonstrated exceptional people skills and often helped in ways that went above and beyond her job description. Darci has amazing artistic talents and used her eye for art in some of our publications. It is my pleasure to recommend Darci Jaret for employment. She is a delight and you will enjoy working with her.

Administrator and Facility Coordinator

Jul 2011 - Sep 2016
Employing a strategy of radical welcoming in the front office of First Baptist Church of Decatur, I am blessed everyday to be here! The job is a mixture of administration, database management, volunteer coordination, outreach ministry, facility scheduling and evangelism. A great combination that provides many opportunities for multi-tasking, working for four different Ministers, assisting with programs and generally fielding many questions for a congregation in the thousands. Tipped Worker/ Minimum Wage Campaign
-
Jan 2010 - May 2010
As a Political Science major I understood and participated in many campaigns and organizations, but felt more engaged and inspired by the work, staff and method of 9 to 5 Working Women Atlanta chapter thank any other organizations. I have been fortunate to plug into all levels of Minimum Wage Committee work from the national level, lobbying Rep. David Scott, to the state level with Poor People's Campaign and grassroots outreach to other tipped workers. 9 to 5's agenda and mission is not only extremely important, and the "Fair Eats" campaign is as well because the food service industry is one of the largest sectors today. I am an example of a person empowered by this mission and this inspiration and politization will happen to many more. Show less
