I couldn't recommend Gabe more highly to almost any team. He is the embodiment of hustle and has the ultimate GSD approach to everything he does. We hired Gabe as a temporary intern at Kissmetrics. It was supposed to be a 3 month assignment. He did such great work across several projects that we ended up hiring him full-time to be a product engineer. He ended up working with a small team to build a brand new product from scratch. He then was tapped for some serious infrastructure projects. Gabe was a pleasure to work with on a daily basis and he had a huge impact on the organization.

After my internship, I joined the team as a product engineer where we built and launched a SaaS product for user engagement scoring, Sherlock, in a matter of months. I then took on an infrastructure role for the data pipeline of Alliioop, an e-commerce customer marketing platform.- Contributed to several iterations of Sherlock's frontend application- Learned Ruby on Rails to help build a backend API for Sherlock and its 3rd party integrations.- Wrote several MySQL queries related to segmentation and engagement scoring on both the user and account level.- Led the full-stack development of Sherlock's 3rd party integrations including Salesforce, Intercom, Slack, and Segment.- Took on DevOps responsibility related to database and app deployment, continuous integration, and continuous deployment of Sherlock- Analyzed Kissmetrics' segmentation, email delivery, and 3rd party integration legacy architecture for ways to improve on its faults. - Researched and planned Alliioop's segmentation, email delivery, and 3rd party integration architecture, focusing on event-driven services that were resilient and responsive.- Built Docker-based Golang microservices for Alliioop's data pipeline that concurrently saved data in Elasticsearch and AWS S3.
