I was in charge of everyday responsibilities of running the CMM machine, measuring the parts running on the brazing furnaces, checking for near miss parts and doing employee evaluations. I was in charge of making sure the employees knew how to do their job correctly and all the parts were of acceptable quality to send to the suppliers. Managed long term projects as well as everyday tasks. Performed a chemical inventory of over 500 chemicals for the entire plant then created an document verifing all of the chemicals. Performed monthly safety inspection of the eyewash stations as well as ergonomic inspections on certain employees jobs. Furthermore I was involved in meetings with the managers that created ideas and implemented solutions to workplace injuries and dangerous habits. More over I was involved with the Schaeffler Global EEHSS convention that came up with best practices and found common solutions to work place problems. Managed projects for the plant in order to keep production running, increase production capacity and efficiency. Projects included a 300 hp vfd air compressor, a 11,000 gallon nitrogen tank, LED Lights for the entire plant, and a Bathroom renovation project. In addition I ran meetings with the other engineers and managers as well as met with vendors about their product in order to provide the plant with the best fit.
