Kim Lobur is a remarkable person. Very quickly and without fuss, she became a leader within our HP-UX 11.20i Quality Assurance team, coordinating her and colleagues' testing activities. I don't know how exactly she did it (I like to think I was smart enough to stay out of the way :-)), but whenever she stepped forward, the efficiency of the team's process improved. Kim also has the ability, highly valuable under stress, to calm a team down in tense situations. Throughout the project our team would receive, first monthly, then by-weekly and eventually weekly, "loads" from Integration, which we had to put through preliminary testing for basic sanity, then install on all the test systems to run all the test suites. These were high-stress times, because the team would be squeezed to publish test results and bug reports on-time even when loads were late (which, naturally, they frequently were. Without prompting, Kim led in organizing the team's work during these periods, to the project's benefit.

I have had the honor of working with Kim Lobur for over 10 years. During that time, I’ve found her to be extraordinarily resourceful, meticulous and hard working. She is an expert in Microsoft Office, and has been indispensable in the preparation and presentation of corporate executive correspondence and briefings. I personally utilized Kim’s talent to organize and manage our sales forecasting system and serve as the lead of our customer contact center. I have also been impressed by her positive, can-do attitude and willingness to volunteer for additional assignments. Kim would be a tremendous asset to any organization.
