I am responsible for the Global Business Development of Sigma-HSE which includes;Sigma-HSE (UK) Ltd based in Winchester which focusses on process safety and electrostatic testing in our state of the art, ultra-modern laboratories along with associated consultancy assistance for process safety issues, The Environmental Laboratory based in Hastings which has a vast array of analytical equipment and highly skilled professionals that can provide data for WAC testing, soil and water testing.Sigma-HSE (India) Pvt based in Delhi which has experts in the fields of Seveso (COMAH), process safety, occupational safety and environmental assessments. My role also provides technical input for clients to ensure that the correct testing strategy is applied when they require data for process safety risk assessments.   My work at Chilworth covered a wide variety of positions. Initially starting work in the IEH Laboratory and then designing and completing the current, fully functional test laboratory. During this period I also set up the Physical properties test laboratory for REACH, CLP and transportation testing and set Chilworth on the road to GLP compliance. My fields of expertise stretched from gas/vapour and dust explosions through electrostatic testing to regulatory testing as stated above. I gave many training sessions in how to use data for industrial applications and lectured on subjects such as ATEX, DSEAR and regulatory compliance. My final years were spent being part of a business development team building relationships with clients and ensuring that they had the correct service for their requirements and the work was completed on time and in a suitable manner.
