During my time within this office environment I myself was able to work effectively within an operating team, leading the charge in the virtual PA/answering service game. I was able to develop my:- Customer service skills- Telephone communication skills (focusing on confidence and effectively gathering information)- Patience and understanding with people of all ages and backgrounds (this came with the difficulty of language barriers)- Ability to lead others by using my own initiative- Effectively communicate within a loud and busy environment- Work ethic - I personally grew to dislike my position within the company but still put 100% effort into my long shifts, day in day out.Amongst the above I feel that my time in this job position enabled for me to realise the true importance of a happy, hardworking and healthy workforce that shares the same goals and philosophy as those leading the company to new heights.

Being within this job position gave me the opportunity to gain real retail work experience to build upon my career goals and future customer experiences. I covered till operations/cash handling & customer service. Advising and helping customers to find the goods they want, providing information on products and prices as well as all other responsibilities that come with working at a large commercial organisation. I was able to develop and discover my:- Customer service skills- Patience and understanding with people of all ages and backgrounds (this came with the difficulty of language barriers)- Ability to lead others by using my own initiative- Effectively communicate within a loud and busy environment- Work ethic- Understanding of how a large commercial based operation worked- Knowledge of a basic working environment and the perks that came with that- Understanding of proper interviewing techniques when selecting from multiple candidates for a position often seen as being the "face of the company"Working within retail grossly increased my understanding towards how companies operate, how different people communicate and the proper way to deal with different customer based situations within a working/professional environment.
