I worked with Carol during her time in the physical oceanography lab. Her communication with colleagues was excellent. She always had a positive attitude toward research and was careful to insure that all her activities were of excellent quality. Carol is a team member, but an independent thinker. I would be more than happy to work with Carol again. Please do not hesitate to contact me if I can provide further information about Carol's skills.

I was an R&D at ENVIRONMENTAL AND NATURAL RESOURCE ECONOMICS GROUP - A group with a wide range of research fields: Fishery Economics, Forestry, Natural Resource Economics, and Economic Assessment of Environmental Externalities. I partnered with leaderships and co-workers of different backgrounds (marine scientists, economists, mathematicians) to deliver exceptional work in the field of natural resources use and management. Part of my work during this experience was focused on fisheries resources. • Managed a doctoral project’s projects details and tasks and produced time-dependent deliverables related to natural resources use, management, and governance, which was granted EUR 29,000 (~USD 33,000). • Using my organizational, reporting, and documentation skills, I delivered 5 reports on my project development to an evaluation and monitoring committee. • Dynamic professional with the ability to interface with national and international scientific teams, evidenced by 6 cross-functional collaborations to deliver 7 publications, including peer-reviewed works, book chapters, and briefings. I was part of the MARINE AND ENVIRONMENTAL GEOLOGY RESEARCH GROUP is a “Competitive Reference Group”, part of the Marine Research Center of the University of Vigo. It is composed of 6 permanent academics and a dozen researchers specialized in different earth sciences fields. The main R&D areas of this group are sedimentology, cartographies, seafloor and subsurface sediments seismic and acoustic, sediments physical properties, sediment geochemical properties, petrology, hydrodynamics and coastal engineering, sediments and archaeological remains dating, and environmental impact reports. I partnered with other professionals to develop a project related to “geochemical properties of marine sediments”: • Managed the project tasks and assignments to deliver time-dependent and innovative results, as evidenced by the development of one of the 1º isotopic curves of the Iberian Continental Margin. • Handled and analyzed sediments samples in the lab, operating the required equipment to perform geochemical analysis, as evidenced by the processing of over 40 sediment samples. • Thoroughly organized and documented the development of tasks and reported the results, as evidenced by the completion of my master’s degree project. The PHYSICAL OCEANOGRAPHIC RESEARCH LAB was under the Faculty of Oceanography, Department of Geosciences. Composed by a group of professors, researchers, and undergraduate students, this lab was committed to the study of physical oceanographic parameters of fluvial, coastal, and marine areas, e. g. hydrologic and sedimentary assessments, bathymetry, water flow balance, and geophysics.I partnered with professors and colleagues to work on projects and perform assignments such as collecting and processing data in the field and in the laboratory, reporting, and preparing communications to national and international conferences.• I worked with other researchers in a collaborative team-oriented environment to collect (in field trips and at the lab) and process hydro-sedimentary data sets that included: tide variation, turbidity, water balance, bathymetry, and particulate suspended matter.• My communication and presentation skills and my expertise in the geosciences field resulted in the presentation of 5 briefings in natural and international conferences.• I am a fast-paced, self-motivated professional that prioritizes continuous learning, as evidenced by my participation in the “Sciences without Borders”, an exchange program to study in high-level international institutions, which granted me ~USD 18,000.
