Karen was my direct supervisor for over 6 years. During that time, she helped me transition from technical / inside sales to key account management and I could not have asked for a better mentor. Karen has a wonderful ability to lead while still collaborating and collecting outside opinions when needed. Karen is skilled at evaluating and listening to opinions and then making a firm decision and implementing that decision. She has an outstanding attention to detail and can be counted on to formulate unique solutions to everyday issues. While Sales Director, she led her team to successfully close many large and complex projects. One of those successes was the largest project win in our group’s history. Karen played an integral part in the success of this project from beginning to end. She is the one that made the first contact when the project started years prior, and then assisted me when I took the account over. She was involved in all aspects of the project, from continued technical collaboration through to contract negotiations. Clearly her style of leadership and project management works. Karen would be an excellent asset to any team.
