I know Indi mainly through chairing Birmingham Create, the city’s Cultural Education Partnership. Indi is a great person to collaborate with because of his energy, his polite directness and pragmatic approach. He is entrepreneurial and well connected - I find that his name crops up within many networks. He has a passion for the creative industries and cultural education and is committed to developing opportunities for young people. He is also great fun!

I've known Indi for a few years now and first met him at an event for entrepreneurs. I'm always keen to work with new people who bring different perspectives to our leadership programmes so I asked Indi to host a visit for us, which he did. Since then he's hosted many visits - for cross-sector leaders, on a variety of programmes. The feedback is always excellent - participants comment on Indi's enthusiasm for his world/work but also his honesty and openness, when discussion leadership and management questions. His passion for entrepreneurship is evident and he's clearly very busy running a successful business so his generous support, in giving up his time, to support us is much appreciated. This year Indi also took part in our Meridian, cross-sector leaders programme, and was a great participant, engaged, interested, articulate and supportive of colleagues. I'm happy to recommend Indi and hope that we continue to work together in the future - one of Birmingham's great entrepreneurs.

I have met few who have had the fortune to build a business around their personal passion in life. Indi is one of those privileged individuals I have worked with as a Coach over the past two years through the Aston Business School. It is clear when meeting Indi that he has a natural talent and personal drive to develop boundaries beyond the traditional online news media lifestyle formats. Having established a viable high quality UK online magazine for the Asian community both in the UK and abroad, I worked with Indi to re-examine this aspect of his business and the future potential scope for Desiblitz. This gave Indi the chance to look more objectively at options open to the business for growth and investment and inevitably the need to seek private sector income through both advertising sponsorship and corporate patrons as a means to invest and grow. Central to Indi's strategy has been the need now to develop the business to its next stage - to strengthen image and awareness within the business community, to constantly analyse its market position, to build promotional material and engage with potential patrons. By his natural interest and personal drive, Indi has proved well able to move this business forward and through his genuine personal qualities has been a pleasure to work with. I sincerely wish him and DesiBlitz well.
