I have known Joe for many years and have always been impressed by his innovation, professionalism and attention to detail. The graphic design work he has done for me has always been of a high standard and delivered on time. Give Joe an idea of what you are after (or what you think you are after) and he goes off and returns with excellent ideas of artwork to choose from, bringing any subject to life. Not only is Joe a safe pair of hands, he is always cheerful and great to work with. I would thoroughly recommend Joe.

I acquired this job in a busy pub/restaurant to fund my UK rent during the last term of University, however, I enjoyed the interaction with the regular visitors and the bustling atmosphere so much I would work week-end and evening shifts too! Engaging with tourists, locals and staff greatly improved my communication and leadership skills and I was entrusted with the running of the Pub when required, including manning the bar, front of house and waiter duties. A role covering a huge variety of jobs including campus tours, interviews, Alumni coordination, data inputting and university maintenance, this job allowed me to progress my time management, communication, public speaking and organisational skills. Interacting with prospective students and parents from a broad cross section of the community allowed me to pass on my enthusiasm for my course and university in a hands-on approach, whilst working as part of a close-knit team. I was responsible for the sale of consumer products, delivery, organization and display of merchandise in both the Food Hall and Menswear and Home-ware Departments. To meet our targets, I noticed that, whilst not entirely a creative job, close attention to detail and determination to tick every box were only as important as maintaining an effective working relationship with your colleagues. This job taught me to be able to work under pressure and use my initiative to quickly solve any problems which arose. Show less
