  In my role at Reign Group, I devise new optimization levers and provide guidance on initiatives affecting global positioning and strategical alliances on a global level.Main responsibilities include:• Decision-making on all matters arising from the day-to-day business operation of REIGN without obtaining passing decision of the Board of Management.• Handle all matters relative to REIGN’s organizational structure and the internal management rules.• Handle all hiring and workforce decisions.• Develop strategies and deal structures for in-licensing, out-licensing and OEM product distributorships.• Maintain high-level contact with key accounts. • Develop and implement short- and long-range operating objectives, strategies and marketing plans required to meet long-term growth and profitability objectives in select regions and territories.• Work with financial analysts to analyze business performance; develop and implement business strategies to respond to regional trends and/or issues.• Partner with scientific and operations directors to establish and maintain an organization structure to meet the needs of the region/territory.• Approve and manage budgets and expenses associated with direct reports.• In alliances and partnerships with scientific and operations directors, represent REIGN to industry groups, key customers, representatives of government and regulatory agencies and the general public.

The Adventurous Mailbox

  This will forever be my favorite job! For my very first company, I not only conceived of the concept but developed all material. On top of that, I was also able to forward our mission of inspiring young minds to explore the world and to open up to new ways of thinking and being.The Adventurous Mailbox offered a series of adventure books set in different countries around the world, using each country's culture as part of the adventure. In addition to the adventure books, we also developed 1000s of lessons to accompany the books, an online platform with activities, games, and gobs of content, and we also developed a full computer coding manual, where kids leaned to code and create their own projects based on the adventures.The hats I wore included content development, social media management, and all business related activities. We shut the company down when it proved too difficult to get a serious foothold in the Western market while stationed abroad. Along the way, though, we won some awards, got some glowing reviews, and some heartwarming feedback from kids, making the whole endeavor 100% worth it.
