I worked with Beatriz to put together a smallholder-farmer program strategy and funding proposal. The team was fully remote and cross cultural. Beatriz worked extremely well in this remote setting and was collaborative, strategic, and responsive with her contributions. During the project, there were a number of unexpected setbacks and hurdles encountered. Beatriz responded in a measured fashion – not getting thrown off balance and responding decisively and thoughtfully to the situation. Beatriz is passionate about food and agriculture, with a special affinity for the South American Atlantic Forest.
