Matt's fundamental knowledge of the content delivered was extremely high, and this was evident with the individual support he provided to trainees during the course. Matt put in hours way beyond what would have been expected to ensure trainees were able to understand and thrive with difficult core concepts, but most importantly was very able to stretch people to get the maximum learning possible from their time. Matt frequently pushed me beyond my comfort zone and encouraged me to really get the most out of what I was learning, and was extremely capable of answering complex questions. I was impressed by Matt taking stock of some difficult queries, and returning a few days later having researched the topic with comprehensive understanding, as well as the ability to pass on that understanding. Matt's personalised teaching became extremely important to the students on the course once the teaching had to be delivered remotely due to the Covid lockdown, and. could not have been more satisfied with the quality of mentoring he provided, in difficult circumstances.

Matt has taken on some very challenging aspects of the project and has shown a willingness to go above and beyond the point of call in his work.
