  Working in research and development for Transtech Control, for the Intelligent Airport system, a complicated system providing situational awareness, safety and security alerts to airport traffic controllers. This system is composed of two types of sensors – radars and optical, network infrastructure, servers processing sensors data, running the tracking and monitoring algorithms maintaining the system database and graphical workstations. This system has reached maturity and is now installed in several airports in Israel, Europe and USA. I have been involved with the characterization, design, defining development procedures and the actual development and deployment of this system, accompanying it from the early design stage through the development, integration, pilot and deployment stages. I held several positions during this period: software developer, software team leader and currently I am the system engineer. The system was developed for Windows under MS Visual C++. Show less
