Dave is one of the few CPAs in San Diego who understand the US international tax rules and how to ensure the US tax compliance rules are adhered to for his clients. The area is very complex, with significant penalties if not correct (or ignored). I have worked with Dave on a number of his clients, and it is obvious he cares about his clients, and he communicates with them so they understand the issues. He also knows when to bring in other professionals when there is a need - IP attorneys, financial planners. Dave apporaches his client needs with a holistic approach. Dave is always looking to improve his technical skills and keep up to date on issues. Currently he is undertaking an international tax certification so he can bring more value to his clients. On a personal level, I greatly enjoy working with Dave due to his personal integrity and honesty and compassion. I look to partner with him on issues, as his clients trust him and his advice.
