I started tap dancing 17 years ago, and I have been part of the Shall We Dance, which is a group of professional tap dancers, for 10 years. As part of this group, I have already participated in more than 20 dance shows all around Portugal. The regular tap dance classes always took me 2-5 hours a week, in addition to the extra training hours needed for the shows. This made me an extremely organized, disciplined, and commited person. Student Research

During 7 weeks, I integrated a team of 11 investigators from the Innate Behavior Lab, at the Campalimaud Research. During this period, I was responsible for a new project of the lab called Thorough CO2 Avoidance Behavior in Drosophila, for which I had to build the entire experiment setup and carried out more than 50 experiments with fruitflies. Through this experience I had the opportunity to contact and work with people from many different nationalities and backgrounds.
