The Tattersalls Club is Sydney's premier sport, social and business club. Located in the heart of the CBD with an outlook across Hyde Park, Tattersalls vision is to be a Club of Consequence harnessing the connecting power of community, sport, culture and wellbeing. Tattersalls is a gathering place for members to make great things happen, not only in the clubhouse but within our city and nation. As publicly recognised at the time of my appointment in 2011, the Club had significant challenges and put its Elizabeth Street premises on the market. With a mandate for change, in just over five years, I led and implemented significant cultural, financial and structural changes with the following achievements: Key Achievements: ● Financial Success: The Club has and continues to deliver its best financial performance in decades. ● Prudent Management: since 2011/12, the Club has consecutively delivered operating profits, a feat that was not matched over the last 50 years. ● Restructured Operations: designed and implemented a restructured business model, which allowed the club to remain as owners, in situ, at our Elizabeth Street premises. The key element was the negotiation of a highly profitable lease of part of the Club. ● Delivery Focus: An evolving organisational structure within the club provides a more efficient and targeted service to members, reducing costs and improving member satisfaction. ● Commitment to Members: in 2013/14, the Club had its first net member increase in over 30 years. This trend has continued since. ● Implemented cultural change: After 156 years, expanded our membership to include women. These changes have been instrumental in transforming the Club into a modern sporting, social and business club. CTL created value and managed programs of change across all key business areas in the operationally-challenging Small/Medium Enterprises (SME) environment with a particular focus on the brewing industry. Key contracts involved management of the following projects with demonstrable outcomes. Key Achievements: ● Event Management and Promotion: emphasising the consumer brand experience, ‘Beer Exposed’ was heralded by world renowned Roger Protz as ‘a great innovation, a new way to run a beer festival in Britain’. Beer Exposed was a full-service role over 12 months and, as Event Director, I was involved in all aspects of the event which drew in 5,000 people in 3 days. ● Operational Structuring and Implementation: BrewDog Limited was the fastest growing brewery in the UK. Contracted as its Operations Manager, for 18 Months I delivered swift implementation of robust procedures to maintain and support the hypergrowth experienced by the company. ● Product Development and Launch: The worlds strongest beer with a focus on provenance and quality BrewDog ‘Tactical Nuclear Penguin’ sold out in 4 hours, with orders from 12 countries. Consistent and clear consumer communication was achieved through extensive internally run PR and Social Media channels, which ensured the website was consistently 1st – 3rd most read Food & Drink Blog in the UK. ● Full Operational Review and Implementation: An established trade beer competition had stagnated and new licensees sought revival. I was contracted to rebrand and relaunch the competition over three years. The event grew 40% and expanded to include successful trade & consumer presentations. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Show less

Increased occupancy rates and swifter repairs, improved the overall profitability of the portfolio. ● Design and build of a front-line management tool. Improving the efficiency of the relationships between client and tenant by transferring the key CRM activities online. ● Development and implementation of maintenance programs. ● Business sold in April 2007 to Touchstone Asset Management (UK Subsidiary of Colliers CRE). ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Show less
