Daniel Garcia
I don't write this review lightly, and Shawn has not asked me to write this. I have worked with an incredible number architects and studios throughout my 7+ year career as an MEP Consultant, and each has their choice of strengths and weaknesses. Some are incredibly technical but at the cost of clarity. Some are incredibly creative but at the cost of reality. Some are incredibly empathetic but at the cost of assertiveness. Suffice it to say, Shawn somehow pulls off all of the strengths and none of the weaknesses of a seasoned architect. His personable manner, his technical curiosity and acumen, his organization and prioritization of tasks, and his empathy towards all stakeholders while keeping the team on task are what make him a one-of-a-kind collaborator to work with. Our project was no small feat to coordinate and had incredibly unique and sudden challenges to solve. But I can't imagine anyone solving them as calmly, creatively, and assertively as Shawn did. It is hard for me to list many other architects I enjoyed working with as much as I did with Shawn. I can only recommend him more for any studio, developer, or consultant that would consider working with him.
