Ian Stewart
I work with Christi on many social media projects during which she has dramatically improved the style, readability and SEO of my written articles, WordPress blogs and Adobe Spark video logs. She has experience with an impressive suite of design programs and used several of these to revamp the appearance of our program guides and plant sale catalogs. Our online and print guides are now colorful and vibrant, and enriched by photographs of people, animals, and plants (many of which she took herself). She is very resourceful and creative and a genuine ‘out of the box’ thinker who has stimulated several fresh approaches to our programs. Christi has a background in art and design and displays her talents in a range of formats (pencil sketches of people and their faces, illustrations of the natural world, calligraphy). She also has a very good eye for photography, especially of happy people enjoying nature and each other. Christi plays a key role at the Delaware Nature Society in maintaining the appearance of our web site and has to handle regular updates and additions from several staff members. She somehow manages to handle this constant juggling with professionalism and without any fuss and remains personable and a good communicator and team player despite some tight deadlines. I serve with her on our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Justice committee where I have found her to be very empathetic and sensitive to people of different cultures, lifestyles, and attitudes, and a very active listener and generator of new perspectives. She is keen to instill an interest in nature and its conservation to our members, especially among their children, and is dedicated to her family and friends. In sum, Christi is a remarkably pleasant, happy, positive person, who would be a strong asset to any team. I can honestly say that Christi is one of the most memorable and talented people I have ever worked with.
