Nicole joined my team at Disney Streaming at a very interesting time: early April 2020. Just as the team was adjusting to the realities of work from home, she came in and made an immediate impact and integrated seamlessly into the team. She adjusted easily to the often chaotic pace of life in a streaming company and played a huge role in key projects. She even filled in for me when I was on vacation, taking on some of my project planning and release management responsibilities during the lead-up to the Star+ launch, and I returned to rave reviews from many of her teammates. Nicole was always well-liked and well-respected within the team. She cares deeply about the quality of her contributions, takes ownership and responsibility for her work, and is not afraid to speak her mind when it comes to technology or process decisions. She regularly volunteers to help out her teammates and take on big challenges, which is something I always appreciated as her lead and manager. I would be lucky to have Nicole on my team again in the future, and have no doubt she could be a leader in any engineering team.

Nicole is one of those engineers that you wish you could always be on the same team. In my time working with Nicole I was often impressed with her well-rounded skills and her ability to absorb, synthesize, and communicate technical concepts. Nicole often brings clarity to difficult tasks and is deft at creating elegant solutions that complement the projects she's working on. In addition to Nicole's engineering skills she's also proven herself as a very capable leader. She's been willing to step into fill gaps to ensure that the team continues to function and that work doesn't grind to a halt. Nicole also has a lot of empathy and is capable of seeing from other's point of view without compromising her own principles. When we were hiring for our team I really appreciated Nicole's perspectives and her wisdom in helping the team distill what we were looking for and making sure we stayed true to our goals rather than getting off track. I would gladly work with Nicole again. She is a solid engineer, leader, and colleague. She was a critical part of the success of our work on Disney+. Nicole will be a valuable engineer and leader for any team that is fortunate enough to have her on it.
