This role extended my experience in teamwork, attention to detail and occupational health and safety .After a visit home the opportunity presented itself to both help in the local harvest and catch up with family and friends. In this role I am required to work long hours with steady forward thinking. Being surrounded by high achieving individuals has given me the knowledge of new and old farming techniques that are both interesting and enlightening. Working for this contracting group I was required to work in a team covering grain for major bulk handling group CBH this meant strong teamwork and commitment to early starts whilst adhering to strict OHS guidelines. This job also meant working long hours in isolated areas.The most recent season involved taking on the role of being a senior team leader liaising with CBH and Elpha staff and management.
