In addition, we have identified technology gaps in underwater communication, vehicular technology, perception & navigation, mixed reality teleoperations, and tactile sensing & end effectors that would enable collaborative human-HUV remote tetherless light intervention operations. Specific use cases are defined as part of the program and would be demonstrated in the TCOMS ocean basin & an offshore test range in Singapore. This would be with an aim of developing core competent technologies that would encourage innovation and incubate enterprise, eventually leading to industry offerings that can improve the global competitiveness of Singapore in the marine and offshore technology and operations sectors.
