BeeX is building the world's most advanced Hovering Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (HAUVs). Our technology takes men and women out of dangerous environments, slash carbon footprint, ultimately create a sustainable way to differentiate without cutting corners. We started BeeX because we were frustrated by the manual, dangerous and inefficient methods of underwater work, as well as the high costs and complexities of integrating new tech. Leveraging on 9 years of R&D in underwater self-driving, we are focused on helping our partners achieve a transformative leap in conducting underwater operations. Our flagship A.IKANBILIS HAUV has worked in challenging conditions alongside forward-thinking service providers; providing insight on the condition of near-shore assets - 200+ structural piles, 1000+ anodes, vessels, seabeds and tanks at unpredented speed and quality. We are actively engaging with customers to build a 10X better and bigger variant for harsher conditions in Offshore Wind. We are always looking out for partners and teammates who share our vision of enabling better underwater work, please reach out at grace(at)beex.sg! Show less

Jun 2021 - Present
Singapore The CHRIIS program plans to explore various aspects of collaborative human-in-the-loop concept of operations with specific emphasis on inspection, monitoring & light intervention using unmanned underwater robotic systems. In addition, we have identified technology gaps in underwater communication, vehicular technology, perception & navigation, mixed reality teleoperations, and tactile sensing & end effectors that would enable collaborative human-HUV remote tetherless light intervention… Show more The CHRIIS program plans to explore various aspects of collaborative human-in-the-loop concept of operations with specific emphasis on inspection, monitoring & light intervention using unmanned underwater robotic systems. In addition, we have identified technology gaps in underwater communication, vehicular technology, perception & navigation, mixed reality teleoperations, and tactile sensing & end effectors that would enable collaborative human-HUV remote tetherless light intervention operations. Specific use cases are defined as part of the program and would be demonstrated in the TCOMS ocean basin & an offshore test range in Singapore. This would be with an aim of developing core competent technologies that would encourage innovation and incubate enterprise, eventually leading to industry offerings that can improve the global competitiveness of Singapore in the marine and offshore technology and operations sectors.
