While board chair provided leadership and direction for the 25-member board of directors of this more than 60-year old, global citizen diplomacy organization of 600 U.S. members with 2,100 partnerships in over 140 countries; conducted quarterly meetings of the board and monthly meetings of the Executive Committee. Recruited, assigned and coached members of board committees and task forces, established new task forces for Latin America and Africa and supported existing task forces and initiatives in China and India to increase the membership network. Represented the organization speaking at multiple conferences in Russia, China, India, and Peru, and in other countries conferring with officials at U.S. embassies and consulates.
