My responsibilities as a Raw Material Warehouse Staff are: • Ensure that raw materials are available and ready for use in the manufacturing process. • Supervise material warehouse operations and ensure items are stored appropriately. • Ensure that space is used efficiently by controlling and supervising the stock keeper's recording process of all raw materials. • Make recommendations for warehouse productivity improvement or continual improvement in terms of administration and operations. • Ensure that human resource/team delegation goes smoothly. • Do a stock opname with the accounting department to guarantee stock conformity every three months. • Ensure that all material warehouse administration records from incoming raw materials to finished goods are kept up to date. • Ensure that the FIFO and 5R systems are in good working order. My project and improvement are: • Conduct a safety stock design for each raw material as a recommendation for raw material procurement. • Creating a layout plan for the positioning of goods to improve service speed.
