Miro is extremely hard working with a strong worth ethic. He shows a dedicated and positive outlook towards his work and always completes his tasks to a high standard. As Educational Developer with SCHOLAR, Miro was initially responsible for designing online educational materials. This involved a range of bespoke technologies as well as communicating with academic staff members. He showed a great willingness to learn and was quickly using our in-house software with ease as well as liaising with educational professionals throughout Scotland. One of Miro’s projects at SCHOLAR was to lead the redesign of our public website where he demonstrated excellent organisational and interpersonal skills (working closely with a variety of people from our administrative, educational and software development teams). Miro has excellent technical skills, can pick up new skills and software easily, and continually strives to keep up to date with new technologies. He has shown that he can to work to tight deadlines whilst making the right decisions to ensure that work is completed effectively. Miro has been an excellent team member and an asset to SCHOLAR and I would highly recommend him to any future organisation.

I had the pleasure of working with Miro during his time at Apex Hotels. Nothing was too much trouble when we had events and client visits and the customer’s needs always came first, which made the experiences truly outstanding. On a more recent note, I worked with Miro on a personal level with tourism blogging and photography, where he is extremely talented and hugely skilled. It has been a pleasure following him on his journey with his professionalism and attention to detail, both when he did photography and social media at Apex Hotels, but also on a professional level. I look forward to be working more with Miro moving forward and seeing him further develop his passion with any businesses he works.

I was taking a leading role in major projects to ensure the project is delivered against a tight time schedule. I was tasked with contributing to the development of the learning content which is delivered over the web and in print. I liaised with academic authors to published professional learning content, via XML, in variety of formats. I was also responsible for the management and production of learning materials and ensuring that the authoring style guidelines are athered to as well as non-development duties to support the day to day operation of the Unit. I identified and seek copyright clearance on any passages which are to be used. Show less
