I have worked with Tim for 20+ years in various roles and various companies. Most recently Tim engaged me for a PLC and CitectSCADA development project that he managed. Tim is an excellent Project Manager and has a exceptional ability to motivate people and to keep projects on track time- and budget-wise. It is a pleasure to work with Tim even when times are tough. Tim is able to expertly understand the client's wishes and realise these with ease.

BEC offers a wide range of consulting, electrical and control system design, implementation and field support services for power systems, control and SCADA networks to clients in mining, resources development, utility markets. While at BEC, Tim managed projects servicing WA's largest gold and diamond producers involved with power station control system refurbishment, materials handling control and automation, load management as well as a number of smaller projects for clients in the mining, power, transportation industries. In early 2009 Tim formed and managed a team of 10-11 engineers and technicians to commission the entire 11kV and 415V electrical network associated with a new underground mining venture in WA's north-west. The system involved two 11kV underground substations, two conveyors (length 3.5km, 5 x 630kW VSD drives), an ore crushing system (feeders, crusher, tramp iron magnet),electrical services covering air conditioning, conveyor lighting, pumping and belt tensioning systems. The commissioning program had to meet three significant milestones including an official opening ceremony in the week before Easter 2009. All milestones were met with time to spare and with an unblemished safety record. The success of this project depended significantly on building a strong team, creating close working relationships with the major civil and mechanical constructor as well as the end user, and on exploiting the latest technology that BEC, through Tim's leadership as Project Manager and Systems Design Engineer, had designed into the GE Fanuc PLC and Citect control and monitoring system.
