During my time in Dr. Guang Sun's Lab I learned how to isolate DNA from human white blood cells and saliva and perform single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) genotyping using TaqMan technology. From this position I published an academic paper (2nd Author) that has been cited over 65 times since its publication in 2011.
