Started working as a freelancer/contractor/consultant after relocating to India in 2015. I realized the need for quality software development in India, specially when it comes to outsourcing. Most of the Entrepreneurs and CTOs I met explained me the pain they faced when it comes to IT services. I wanted to combine my knowledge of US work culture and working with all the agencies (across US and UK) in past to cater the companies looking for freelancers. I have worked with companies like: Themify (Canada) Figmints (Rhode Island) Show less

Founders got me on board as Head of Technology. My responsibilities were to build the technical architecture, build and mentor the team. I launched 2 version of the application, first using Codeigniter, PHP, Javascript, jQuery. Second, we moved from monolithic architecture to micro services using Angular2, Slim, PHP, Javascript. Along with technical contribution and hiring talented developers, I was also responsible for engaging with customers to get their feedback on the product. So that, we can focus our efforts on addressing the customer’s pain points. Show less

Jul 2011 - Nov 2012
I was hired as an Application Developer mainly focusing on front end using HTML, Javascript, jQuery, Ajax and JS frameworks like Handlebars and Angular. I worked on more than 15 web application for clients like Time Inc. (People.com, health.com etc), Mary Kay, Bloomberg etc. My focus was to not repeat myself. I always experimented in the new projects. Be it using new framework like I did while using Angular or working with a new design pattern in Javascript, I always took it as a challenge and was able to succeed and deliver in given time frame. Front End Developer
-
Oct 2010 - Dec 2010
First job after graduating from NYU as a Front End Developer. I was hired as a consultant to work on health.com. Worked their for 3 months majorly involved doing maintenance work using HTML, CSS I am pretty good at scaffolding a project based on its requirement. Before starting a project, I understand the problem statement first, gather the requirements and jot down the tasks as Github issues or Trello cards or whichever tool used by the company. This makes it easy when I start coding as everything is planned properly. Show less
