My main role here at Shanks is payroll. I work closely with our payroll system, ADP to make changes to any employee concerns, changing of information etc.. I also organize company events, volunteering opportunities, track attendance and SDS management. (in the Safety department) Also a back up to the HR Generalist and any other tasks that need performed throughout the day. Other tasks that I do are, anything 401K related, helping with Benefits and Open Enrollment, processing Workers Compensation claims, updating our employee directory and new hire list, orientation prep and presentations, I am a member of L-SHRM- where I serve on the Communications Committee, I chair the Wellness Committee here at my company, also am a member of the Safety Committee, I also assist with working with agencies to bring in temporary contract workers.
