This software is integrated in the standardized 3D models made in SolidWorks and is connected to the SAP PDM system.

Furthermore, I learned and applied my mechanical engineering skills at the branch of logistics at Material Handling Systems MHS (previously Van Riet) in Houten. MHS designs, produces and maintains material handling systems in multiple sectors ranging from parcel to tire industry.   Hoogeveen Worked on the strength of carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastic composites. Experimental tensile testing, accompanied by Acoustic Emission detection, was carried out and compared with existing literature on matrix failure. The results showed a discrepancy with previous used theoretical models and an improved model was proposed.

  Maassluis For my master internship (3 months - 20EC) I worked at Lely Technologies, which is the Research and Development department of Lely Industries. The assignment encompassed the development and testing of a prototype that is able to clean up barns. A new concept was developed and tested for its working principles. The results were promising and the concept is further developed within Lely Technologies.
