At IHFood, I developed real-time vision systems for automated quality control by means of image analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling. As a system developer, I was fully or partly responsible for the development of a series of the company’s vision products. Primary tasks: - Develop machine learning algorithms in C# and Python. - Develop high-performance real-time vision applications for image acquisition and algorithmic inference in C#. - Overall system design and prototyping - Design and integration of vision hardware: camera, optics, LED lighting - Embedded firmware development for acquisition timing controllers in C/C++ The software development at IHFood is based on: Object-oriented programming (SOLID principles), agile test-driven development, dependency injection (Autofac), message bus publish/subscribe, version control (Git) and continuous integration (Azure DevOps). As a part of the development at IHFood, I used the following technologies: .NET, C#, C/C++, WPF, Python, MATLAB/Octave Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, PyCharm Git, Azure DevOps PyTorch, CNTK Windows, Linux Show less

My PhD dealt with tomographic techniques for airborne and space-based radar ice sounding. This involves advanced array signal processing in terms of spectral direction-of-arrival estimation and beamforming.Primary fields of study:- Digital signal processing- Image processing- Image analysis- ElectromagneticsAs part of the education, I have among other things: - lectured and examined in the course Radar and Radiometer Systems, - written the lecture note “Ice Sounding” for the course Radar and Radiometer Systems, and - co-supervised a master thesis in synthetic aperture radar (SAR) interferometry Show less
