From the moment that Laura joined Double Good, I knew that she was going to take our company to another level! As a non-traditional "marketer" myself, Laura has always made me feel valued for my contributions and skill-set while simultaneously pushing me to grow. She is an innovative leader that is always learning and sharing knowledge, whether that be through engaging robust market research or simply sharing a thought provoking article with the team. Her rigorous approach to strategy and alignment allows for our team to operate with true autonomy, as we have the freedom to experiment and fail knowing that we are all working towards the same north star. Laura is one of those leaders and mentors that you really do feel lucky to work with, further validated by the number of past colleagues that have joined the team at Double Good. I couldn't recommend working with her more!

Laura is the rare combination of a highly energetic, positive and gifted leader who demonstrates visionary leadership, mature critical thinking and strategy skills as an executive team member. She partners and brings out the best in an organization’s teams, from operations, finance or research and development to marketing and sales teams. In the more than ten years I’ve worked with Laura, I’ve seen how easily she adapts to new industry, category and organizational challenges, both on the client side and on the agency side. She is very smart, proficient and a consummate professional in both B2B (business to business) and B2C (business to consumer), and industries ranging from enterprise software, to financial services to consumer packaged goods. Beyond her technical skills, and leadership skills, Laura is also a strong relationship builder who is committed to the success of other people and the organizations that she works with.

This has been one of the most rewarding years of my career. I am so very lucky to be building a brand, a team and a business with the ability to positively impact millions of American kids every day. Stay tuned because we are building amazing things. I leapt at the opportunity to build Flexera's brand experience. I did not realize that I would also get to transform the organization into an innovative SaaS company offering enterprise executives the only software that gives them insight across their entire IT estate. Three years ago I started at a $1.5B company which is now valued at $2.85B. Building an agile, empathetic and metric-focused marketing team has been an incredible honor. Add a global pandemic on top of it, an exhilarating ride to date, can't wait for what's next. Show less

Working with great colleagues old and new I have been able to make big impacts quickly. So far I have helped with product development at a large health insurance company, been able to unearth amazing things at a global building materials company and turn their essence into a business building platform, reposition a newly merged healthcare system to better align with today's healthcare consumer and fully immerse myself in the future of quick service restaurants with a budding national pizza chain. It has been incredibly fun because of my great clients and my super uplifting and kind Merge team. Show less

Everyday is a new intellectual adventure at Sandstorm. Here, I continue to get to lead and work with smart, collaborative and creative people to transform our clients' businesses. Lately we have been immersed in re-branding. I have lead the team to define new white space opportunities for clients within the new-normal of distraction. It has been extremely fulfilling to dive into the DNA of our clients organizations and formulate thoughtful, inspirational positioning to move their businesses forward. I am excited about the collaborative, creative journeys ahead. The very first employee of Translation Chicago. I enjoyed opening the office and hiring the first team to support State Farm and McDonald's. Connecting with young people through ideas steeped in pop-culture was the mantra. Nurturing a quirky and talented NYC/Chicago team was challenging and invigorating. Reflecting on this team always makes me smile. The very first employee of Translation Chicago. I enjoyed opening the office and hiring the first team to support State Farm and McDonald's. I will forever be thankful to Euro RSCG for letting me run with it. Here I was allowed to build strong relationships with my Sprint clients and grow and cultivate a multifaceted team of creative professionals. I learned that in order to move quickly, but thoughtfully, process is critical. It gives clients and creative teams the time, space and budget to do better work. I also learned not to take everything so seriously and the value of a cocktail in the moment.

How could I not try to build a boutique creative agency from a photography and catalog shop with two Creative Directors from DDB Chicago? For someone bright-eyed and young this was an opportunity to build a place to do great work. Working with LensCrafters, CDW and even Eddie Z's were opportunities to create something better. The challenge was big, maybe too big; but you don't know until you try. This is where my love affair with marketing communications began. I was given the most amazing opportunity to launch State Farm into Financial Services. Yes, State Farm has a bank, a credit card and a 10 family fund of mutual funds. I worked with the most concentrated group of nice and talented people ever. We worked extremely hard but laughed all the time. This is where I learned the fundamentals work. It is also where I learned hire great people, enable them and great work will happen. This is Euro RSCG. As you can see I tend to keep relationships a long time. I value them immensely. I ended up here because a friend of mine at Discover Card worked here and wanted to work with me again. I only left because friends at DDB, friends from when I freelanced at DDB in-between my business school first year and second year, wanted me back at DDB. I enjoyed my short time here, it was fast-paced, scrappy and intense. The Associates (now Citi) were my clients and it was the beginning of web marketing and we got to do cool stuff with a college target. Show less

So who wouldn't want to work at a PBS television station? Selling smart, thoughtful creative work to the public has a lot of integrity. I also got to assistant direct the pledge drives, don't knock it till you try it. The producer told me I was the best AD they ever had. I was nervous, so I had intense focus. I also ran a cool sweepstakes and learned how to write logic for data pulls and analysis. This organization just did not move fast enough for me. A newly minted MBA recruited straight from campus, that was me, sensible navy blue skirt suit, hose and all. This was a fantastic experience at a marketing led organization. Here I was given a lot of responsibility at a young age. I helped redesign the Cashback Bonus program, this was the baby to what it is today. I also got to work on product launch teams and large cross-functional teams. A newly minted MBA recruited straight from campus, that was me, sensible navy blue skirt suit, hose and all.
