With a desire to revolutionise and improve the standards of dog training; K9 School was formed from the ground up with negligible resources, intermediate training experience and few close friends to support. In 6 months it has grown to one of the most popular dog training companies in Delhi-NCR with a team of 5 people, of which there are 3 trainers including myself. K9 School has also recently closed a partnership deal with Police Dog Centre Holland, to be managing their business and lead generation in India. While their may be many dog training academies, their credentials are slowly dipping due to negligence; whereas the freelance trainers conduct outdated methods or lack a sense of communication. There is a significant hole in this niche with ever increasing pet dog ownership trends. Projects: 1. Introduced Group Classes (Obedience and Socialisation) to Delhi-NCR which had never been conducted before in the same manner i.e. focus on socialisation, involving a brochure and syllabus along with a graduation ceremony and certificates. 2. Spearheaded Pet's Day Out, a pet carnival held at Select City Walk by Heads Up for Tails and PFA. A volunteer team of 4 adults and 8 under 16's led the entire event smoothly managing the temperament of various dogs in public along with conducting games and mini shows like musical chairs and fashion show for dogs. 3. Introducing Therapy Dogs to New Delhi. Homer, our the cofounder and my first dog is a fully trained therapy dog yet to attend his first official therapy session under the company. 4. Working at the most reputed police dog training centre in the world. Spent 4 weeks at the Police Dog Centre Holland learning Explosive and Narcotic Scent Detection, Patrol and Protection work as well as Kennel Management, following with a highly prestigious affiliation as mentioned above.
