I work as SJC's Nodal Officer for UGC's Vocational Programs like BVoc and MVoc (I launched BVoc in Filmmaking and BVoc in Animation in 2014, and have proposed MVoc in Consumer Analytics & Market Research, and MVoc in Supply Chain & Management for 2020)I also launched an MA in Advertising & Public Relations at SJC in 2019.

      I teach mass communication. Began with journalism at under graduate level. This year, we have started post graduate course in mass communication called "Master of Communication and Media Studies". It has three specialisations in the III semester: 1) Broadcast Media, 2) Corporate Communication; 3) Print and New Media Journalism. I also head the SARANG - St Aloysius RAdio maNGalore - 107.8 FM. The radio was launched on 24 June 2009 on a test transmission. Officially launched on 23 Sept 2009. Karnataka Governor H.R. Bhardhwaj launched it in the presence of Dr Veerappa Moily (Union Law Minister), Dr Acharya (Karnataka Home Minister), and host of other dignitaries and over 4000 students, teachers, and local communities.
