Ihm gelingt es meinem Empfinden nach ungewöhnlich gut, "schwere" und "trockene" Themen mit einer Leichtigkeit und auch einem verschmitzten Lächeln rüber zu bringen, was die Voträge stets kurzweilig gestaltet und die Inhalte zugänglich macht. APSCo is an Association with a broad base of international and domestic professional recruitment firms with operations locally. In 2021, I was approached by Ann Swain, which has founded the trade body APSCo in 1999, if I would like to take this position. My relationship with APSCo Deutschland, which was founded in 2015, goes back many years having been a member company and I have seen the value in being part of a trade body. Additionally, to this experience, I contributed as (unsalaried-ehrenamtlicher) RepComm member (that’s the representative committee selected by the members to control the board) and have had a good insight of how a trade body works. But the most important point for me to take this position is that I am passionate about recruitment. I am convinced that recruitment is a sterling industry for a career and that we are to influence the future of Germany by overcoming the skill shortage and help to include more people in the world of work. Rather than managing one company, like in my position before, I can now contribute with my vast experience (nearly two decades in recruitment) and support our member companies and their employees to archive their economical, political, social and personal targets - ultimately support the continues growth of the recruitment industry. 2022 we have successfully grown the organization, its service lines and its reputation.
