Elaboration and validation of a new method using GC-MS for rapid detection and quantification of Opiates in low volume whole blood samples; 2. Validating a new ELISA immunoassay kit for Opiates, Cocaine, THC, Amphetamines, Methamphetamines and Benzodiazepines screening in blood and urine samples. Laboratory certified by the IPAC in accordance to the norm NP EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories: developed skills related to the quality control implemented by the laboratory. – Brief training in the Forensic Biology and Genetics Service about RT-PCR for DNA quantification and Capillary Electrophoresis for DNA genotyping. Also acquired skills in Liquid-liquid Extraction, Solid Phase Extraction (SPE), GC-MS, HS-GC-FID (ethyl alcohol), ELISA immunoassays, UPLC-MS (busulfan and cannabinoids) and quality control.
