Began working for the Copper Cellar Family of Restaurants immediately after the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. This introduced me to working in very delicate situations with customers. I find this experience extremely impactful to understand that every interaction that I have with a customer should reinforce trust so that guests feel confident in returning.

I have always found that serving requires very proficient skills in communication and multitasking. This job has allowed me to experience extremely stressful situations, and improve in working within them. Working as a bartender requires being able to serve a full section, a full bar, and drinks for the entire restaurant. This was not an easy task for me at first, but with practice, I was quickly able to learn how to work in the most efficient manner while providing excellent customer care.

During this time I worked full-time in banquets and upscale dining. This allowed me to work with many different events that occurred in Knoxville, often consisting of rehearsal dinners, networking events, and wine-tasting banquets. I also worked as the head trainer for new employees where I utilized our five-day program to prepare new servers for their first official shift.
