Bio
Chris Elsenbast
Jennifer joined my team as a School Operations Manager in 2018, and quickly demonstrated a deep commitment to mission-driven work in education. When assigned a task, Jennifer shows a sense of ownership and looks for ways to improve her work streams with an eye towards efficiency, financial health, and organizational culture. She is able to balance meeting goals in a fast paced environment while also contributing to a positive team culture. In the position, Jennifer independently owned school purchasing and procurement, effectively transitioning staff to a new system that led to stronger budget processes and cost efficiencies. Another key contribution to the organization was Jennifer’s management of the school foods program. She supported vendor management to ensure consistent and improved service, reduced food waste, and lower cost to the school. It was a privilege having Jennifer on the team and I am confident she would add value to any organization.
Thomas Christopoul
Jen is a pleasure to work with on every level. She puts in tremendous effort, maintains an excellent sense of professionalism, is organized and demonstrates a keen sense of urgency. More than that, Jen is a positive, energetic person who is respected by her colleagues. I would work with her again in a heartbeat.
