Floyd Richmond

To whom it may concern, I have worked with Scott Watson in a number of capacities over the years. Scott served as the chairman of the Publications Committee of the Technology Institute of Music Educators(TI:ME). Under his direction, a number of excellent new TI:ME books were created. Scott is also respected as an exceptional educator, musician, composer, and writer. His compositions and books have been published by Alfred and Oxford, among others. Likewise, he is well known for his exemplary work in the field of music technology. He is frequently called upon to teach music technology courses and to train pre-service and inservice music teachers. I have the greatest respect for Scott Watson and highly recommend him. Robert Sheldon

I am happy to write a recommendation for Scott. As his editor I have enjoyed working with him to prepare his scores for production. Not only has Scott provided our company with many wonderful pieces we are proud to publish, but many of his pieces are among our best-selling titles. His boundless creativity and musicianship make the process of working with him a real pleasure.

Dr. Scott Watson is an outstanding composer, musician, and teacher. He is a master of his art, possessing an in-depth knowledge of music technology as it relates to both composition and music education. I have completed three graduate level courses offered by the University of the Arts and Villanova University which were taught by Dr. Watson. I have found him to be very knowledgeable, very personable, and patient. People who may feel reluctant to pursue course work in music technology because of their limited technological experience would feel very comfortable learning from Dr. Watson. People who are experienced with technological applications for composition and music production would find his courses valuable and engaging. I learned a great deal from my contact with Dr. Watson. I highly endorse Dr. Scott Watson without reservation. David Carroll Northern Lehigh High School
