Crayton started at UCCS on the last business day of 2019. As social media strategist in the office of University Communications, he’s been part of the Mountain Lion family for less than a month as I write this, but his excitement, fresh energy and dedication to the university are already turning heads! It’s an actual treat to work with Crayton. He is always the first to lend a hand on a new project and the first to volunteer to stay late or work on weekends to cover live events – always with a smile, and genuinely happy to be there. Working with Crayton isn’t even like working at all. We’re so lucky to have him!

I had the privilege of working with Crayton Daniel for about two years on many different projects during our time at the Montfort College of business. During that time I saw Crayton grow into a phenomenal leader. When I first began working with Crayton I was assigned the role of team leader for a marketing campaign project that we had worked on. Being that I was the leader of the group I had to rely heavily on the support of my teammates for the success of our project . I quickly learned that Crayton was one of the most hard working and reliable teammates that I ever had. Crayton never shied away from any task that was assigned to him and was very punctual and professional in anything that he did. As time went on and me and Crayton did more and more projects together Crayton emerged as a leader and a great mentor for me. His creative skills and desire to lead and grow make him a great candidate for anyone who hires Crayton.

As a store manager for Fine Arts Theater Group I was delegated a lot of responsibility and executive decision making when it came to customer service. I often open, ran, and closed the theater by myself. On busier days, I could have a staff with me consisting of 1-5 employees. With this job, I learned the importance of hard work and delegation.
